Welcome to the Kent County, Delaware Recorder of Deeds public access web service. Kent County Recorder of Deeds and participating agencies are working hard to better serve you through internet access to recorded documents.

While it is our intent to provide complete and accurate documents, please be advised back scanning of documents and quality control remains in progress. The cost of constructing and maintaining this site, with the vast amount of records stored with the office historically, as well as those added on a daily basis, and to provide the necessary protective devices to insure the accuracy and security of the data would be prohibitive for this office. Consequently, it is advisable to verify the data in the Kent County Record of Deeds office free of charge.

An introduction fee for unlimited internet access to Recorder of Deeds indexes and images has been established at a rate of $50.00 effective 10-1-2009 for a 30 day period, which starts upon receipt of payment. It is anticipated that, the user fee will increase substantially once quality control and back scanning are complete.

In no event shall Kent County, Kent County Recorder of Deeds and participating agencies be liable to users for data or services obtained through internet access.
