As of February 2023, a new online permits and code enforcement portal was launched.
You can now apply for your building permits; sewer permits and report violations at www.mygovernmentonline.org. It’s easy, fast, and secure, and your information can be saved for convenience whenever using the service.

>APPLY FOR PERMITS
To apply for permits you must first create an account. You can register by creating a username and password at MyGovernmentOnline.
It takes only a few minutes to register, but if you need help with setting up your account, please go to www.mygovernmentonline.org/#contactus or call the MyGovernmentOnline Helpdesk at 866-957-3764 during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (EST)
After business hours you may leave a voicemail that will be answered the next day.

Once registered, you can apply for permits using your dashboard at MyGovernmentOnline.
Please note: Permits can be paid for with check, charge card or cash. Customers can pay for their permits online via this website with credit cards or ACH check. There will be a non-refundable service fee for Charge Card or ACH Payment and will appear as a separate charge on your Charge Card or Bank Statement.
>REPORT POTENTIAL VIOLATIONS
You can now report a potential violation at www.mygovernmentonline.org by clicking on the Solution Center button and then choosing “submit a request”. Please select the issue/violation category that best matches your complaint. You may create an account that enables you to check case progress and receive updates, or you may choose to remain anonymous.
