Mission Statement:

To serve the residents of the 2nd Levy Court District and Kent County by striving to make the next day better then the last one. By listening to constituent concerns, thoroughly analyzing all sides of an issue and making thoughtful, balanced decisions.

Commissioner Bradley S. Eaby, the Democratic representative for the 2nd Levy Court District, is currently serving his third consecutive four-year term.

Born October 3, 1961 in Ephrata, PA. My father was a lawyer practicing in the areas of Wills & Estates, Family Law and a general small town practice. My mother was a home maker. I have four brothers and one sister.

I am married to Julie A. Eaby and we are raising three small children, two girls and a boy.

I was educated in the public school system and graduated from Ephrata High School in 1979. I attended Mansfield State College, PA from 1979 to 1981 and then transferred to Shippensburg University, PA in 1981. I graduated from there in 1984 with a B.S. degree. I attended night school at Widener University from 1985 to 1989 and acquired my J.D. degree. During this time I worked at MBNA in their legal department.

After graduating from law school I took the Delaware Bar Exam in 1989 and was admitted to the Delaware Bar in December 1989. I was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1999.

My first job after graduating from law school was with the Dover law firm Barros, McNamara, Malkiewcz & Taylor, P.A. I started with them in August 1989, became a partner in 1998 and practiced with that firm until 2008.

In October 2008 I opened The Eaby Firm, LLC.  I concentrate in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, general civil litigation, real property, personal injury, and wills and estates.  The firm's associate, Robert D. Cecil, Jr., Esq., practices in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, general civil litigation, landlord/tenant and criminal law.

I was reelected to the 2nd Levy Court District on November 4, 2014 and sworn into office on December 30, 2014.
